Alpha Course
Want to know more about Alpha? An informational dinner will be held at the Virginia Oaks Country Club in Gainesville on Saturday, February 25th. The dinner is free for first-time participants in the Alpha Course. To sign up for the dinner, please email us at: alpha@bridge4life.com. Please also feel free to send us any questions you may have about the course or our kickoff dinner.
Our next Alpha Course will begin on Sunday, March 11th. Please check back here to see what nights our small groups will be meeting.
Colombia Mission - March 3-10, 2012
A team of 8 (4 men & 4 women) are serving with missionaries David & Celia in Colombia this March! While serving ONE great purpose, the team will split in two once they arrive.
Men's Team: These four dedicated men will work on a school construction project offering friendly hands of support and a wealth of construction experience.
Women's Team: The women will conduct a Women's Conference and also programs for the children in two locations. The theme of their conference is "A Vessel of Prayer." In addition to teaching, encouraging, and ministering through prayer, the ladies are bringing gifts of school supplies, dental & hygiene supplies, beads for jewelry making, and other fun things.
If you'd like to assist in the donation of these supplies, please see the flyer. Donations are being accepted on Sunday mornings and at the RE/MAX office throughout the week during normal business hours. "BRIDGING OUR FUTURE" Meetings
These are very exciting times in the life of The Bridge as we continue to discover who God would have us to be as a church in Fauquier County. As you are aware, we own 35 acres of property debt free and are moving forward to construct our own church building. We imagine a day when the need to lease facilities will end and our own ministry center, available to us 24/7, exists. We envision a time when the majority of the ministries of The Bridge meet under the same roof.
In November 2010 we launched a three year Bridging Our Future stewardship campaign believing this endeavor would give everyone the opportunity to participate in the vision and funding of this project. Everyone is invited to an updated Bridging Our Future presentation given by our church leadership. During this hour of refreshments and fellowship, we will share on the past, present and future of the church building process: the building design, the process with Fauquier county, and the costs to fund this construction.
