Bridge Kids
Each Sunday morning your children can be a part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, games & lovable characters that teach Godly values at age-appropriate levels.
We offer a fun and exciting children's church called Bridge Kids, which is designed for children from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
Each Bridge Kids children’s church includes songs, skits, puppets, games, Bible lessons, sharing and prayer time. And Bridge Kids helps boys and girls connect with the Lord Jesus Christ and each other.
One of the highlights of the year comes each summer when elementary boys and girls from this church get to attend the Potomac district sponsored kid's camp as a group. The year-round modern facilities are outside of Winchester, VA, near Gore, VA.
Children from The Bridge are accompanied by chaperones from our own children's ministry so your child is supervised by familiar faces. The camp experience is from Monday through Friday, usually the end of July or the first of August each summer. Check the church calendar for this year's dates.
Our church participates in the district's annual Kids-N-Ministry. This event is to encourage elementary children to explore and use their gifts and talents for the Lord. It is for boys and girls 1st through 6th grade. This event is held annually in the Fall at a sister church in Baltimore, MD.
Event categories include: Choir, Creations, Creative movement, Creative writing, Drama, Human video, Instrumentals, Legos, Puppets, Visual arts, Vocal and more. Check the church calendar for this year's dates.
BGMC is our missions program for kids that instills a heart of compassion to reach the lost through praying, giving, and going. Once a month Bridge Kids bring in their yellow Buddy Barrels filled with coins that they have collected over the past month. All funds raised through BGMC go to meet critical needs around the world such as feeding programs, water wells, Bible schools, curriculum, and supplies for missionaries.
BGMC is more than a giving program; it's also a missions education program. BGMC is equipping kids to know, to care, to pray, to give, and to reach the lost and hurting children in our world. Through BGMC children learn about countries, people groups, and missionaries.
