How old does my child have to be to start attending the nursery?

Our recommendation is that your child is at least six to eight weeks old prior to bringing him or her to the Nursery. If you would like to attend the adult worship services prior to your child attending the Nursery, you are welcome to sit with your infant in the church service.

How will you contact me if my child needs me during a church service?

At The Bridge we use a parent check-in/check-out system so that your child is only released back to you or to an adult family-member that you pre-authorize. At check-in you will be given a specific paging number for your child. If you are needed during the church service your paging number will appear on the projection screen above the platform and that will your signal to return to your child’s classroom.

 

 

            

Early Childhood Ministry

The Nursery

The Bridge Nursery is a loving and peaceful environment designed to care for and nurture children birth through crawlers. Nursery is available during the morning church service.

We recommend parents bring a diaper bag and bottle, both labeled with your child's name. Please feel welcome to bring any comfort items your child might have such as a blanket or favorite toy. You will also want to bring a change of clothes for your child just in case it is needed.

First time to The Bridge with an infant?

No worries, we’ll take great care of you at our children’s check-in station located in the lobby of the church. Once you and your child are registered you will be shown the way to our Nursery room where you can check out the facilities for your child.

2's and 3's Program

Once a child is old enough to leave the Nursery and benefit from a classroom setting, we offer a fun and exciting program for 2's and 3's that is age appropriate. Here a child will experience their first Bible lessons, sing songs and enjoy craft time.

Preschool Church

As a child develops physically, mentally, and socially, so too they grow spiritually and our Preschool Church is designed to lead a child into a greater awareness of God, Jesus Christ, the Bible, worship and prayer.

In Preschool Church children will use age appropriate curriculum and there will be continuity from month to month in lessons, songs and class participation.
