 What is a Connection Group?

A connection group is a group of people that meet regularly in homes and in the community. Quite literally, it is a safe environment to connect with God, people, and the community. Each group is unique in its make-up and purpose: some groups are study-based and delve into the Bible; other groups are based in specialties and meet for activities and events. Whether you are looking for a bible study, community service/outreach, or just friendship, we’ve got something for you!

Our Connection Groups operate on a seasonal system:

• Fall - September to November
• Winter - January to March
• Spring - April to June
• Summer - most groups take off in the summer.

We host a Connection Kick-off at the beginning of each semester to highlight and promote what’s available and what’s new.

Why a Connection Group?

We encourage everyone to connect for the benefit of engaging and participating in “authentic community”—a community of people growing in shared experiences and walking out their journeys with each other; a safe and healthy place to belong, to be supported, to be loved. Jesus did not teach that we should live as islands, but to live in community loving each other as ourselves (Matthew 22:29). It is in the environment of authentic community that we will find health, healing, and growth. Find a group this fall and get connected!
