Who leads Connection Groups?

We have a number of leaders of all ages from numerous backgrounds. Most of our Connection Groups are led by members of our Church family. If you are interested in leading a Connection Group in the future, click here.

Which group should I go to?

Feel free to browse this season’s groups on-line or pick up a Connections Catalog from our Welcome Center in the lobby this Sunday. If you still can’t decide, no problem! Send us an email and we’ll be glad to help!

What happens at a Connection Group?

Each Connection Group is different. Our curriculum-based groups generally include a time of prayer, study, and teaching. Our specialty groups differ widely based on their purpose. Some groups meet monthly for camaraderie and/or community service , while others are more events driven.

How long do Connection Group meetings last?

Connection groups can last from 2 hours to all day depending on the group or event.

What if I don’t know anyone in the group?

Then you are definitely in the right place to meet new people! All are welcome! Most of our groups keep empty seats available for newcomers. However, due to space constraints, some of our groups have a maximum capacity. Please be sure to contact us ahead of time!

Hasn’t that group been meeting for a while? I’d feel uncomfortable “barging in”.

All are welcome no matter the longevity or newness of the group. However, since statistics tell us newcomers are more likely to join new groups, we try to create new groups each semester just for you!

I’m so busy during the week that I don’t have time for anything else. . .

You’re not alone! We encourage weekly connection, but if your schedule won’t permit, we also offer monthly, quarterly, and seasonal connections. There is always something going on!

I’m a new Christian. . .

Great! Our Alpha course is ideal for new believers! Check out our Alpha page here.

I don’t know much about the Bible. . .

This is the place for you! Join us as we learn more about the Bible together. We offer a variety of Bible studies applicable to all - no matter where you are in your journey, there is a group for you.

What if I don’t want to do a Bible Study and/or participate in discussion?

Bible studies aren’t the only Connection Groups. We also offer specialty groups that meet in the outdoors, in the community, for fellowship, for support, and for prayer. Ask us about it, we’re happy to share!

What do I do with my children?

At this time, we do not offer childcare for our Connection Groups.

What if I can’t make it every week?

Come when you can! We encourage consistent attendance for our curriculum-based groups, but we also know that things come up. No problem!
